FAQS
Disaster Recovery (DR) focuses specifically on restoring your technical infrastructure—rebuilding servers, restoring data, and bringing applications back online after an outage. Business Continuity (BC) is the broader strategy that keeps your business operating during that outage, including remote-work protocols, staff communications, and alternative operational workflows.
Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is the maximum acceptable duration of system downtime after a failure. Recovery Point Objective (RPO) refers to the maximum acceptable amount of data loss measured in time (for example, losing up to 1 hour or 24 hours of data). We design your DR strategy to meet the specific RTO and RPO targets your business requires.
We recommend running simulated disaster recovery tests at least once per year, or whenever major structural changes are made to your IT environment (such as migrating core databases to new cloud platforms or opening new office locations).
